NIL NOUZA, Gips x Nil Nubia by Versal, 1994 (Family Kuhaylan Rodan)
Elite Mare, sold

NIL NOUZA, another of Nile Arabians' foundation mares, embodies the classical Arabian style of Nile Arabians that has been consistently bred and genetically established over the past 30 years. NIL NOUZA's pedigree is something of a rarity, including the best Egyptian and Russian bloodlines. Nile Arabians was the first and only stud farm in the world to have a breeding programme that mates its best pure Egyptian mares such as NAYA or NIL NAJADA with selected Russian-bred top stallions such as VERSAL (Naftalin x Pernataya) and GIPS (Mashouk x Polinezia), to enrich and open up the breed genetically by combining the best type, movement and performance characteristics. This quiet breeding revolution set off heated debate and raised emotions among breeders and Arabian horse lovers worldwide, but Nile Arabians' successes with these matings soon inspired other famous European breeders, and even state stud farms such as Babolna, to follow suit, increasing the acceptance of this concept as an interesting breeding variant.
