Nil Farah Diba is a classical outcross product. Her father AF Albahar by Amer out of Al Hanouf is 100% desert bred. Her dam Nil Anablue is French bred with a 3x4 inbreeding to the chef-de-race Saint Laurent, 1948 (Baroud II x Madou) and with a 4x5x5 inbreeding to the prominent mare Madou, 1939 (Norniz x Amica).  

Her sire AF Albahar belongs to one of the leading sires in Qatar with group winners in Qatar, Dubai and France. Although AF Albahar is unraced and has some remarkable defects in legs he produces above average. Also his two brothers Hateen (2003) by Bengali d’Albret and AF Al Buraq by Amer are both successful sires in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

From her mother Nil Anablue (Munjiz x Kadjouna de Nerak), Nil Farah Diba received the blood of the legendary Unchainedd Melody, the dam of Munjiz. Unchainedd Melody set a unique race record of 37 wins out of 38 runs.
