NIL ASFOUR 2013 (Burning Sand x Nil Abiat)

The colt Nil Asfour is a classical outcross product crossing the American blood of Burning Sand to the strongly French line bred pedigree of Nil Abiat who is twice inbreed to the chef-de-race stallion Saint Laurant and the mare Mandragore and 3-times inbred to chef-de-race stallion Dragon and the mare Magnesie. In Nil Asfour’s pedigree the speed of Burning Sand is combined with the stayer qualities of the French dam line.

His dam Nil Abiat belongs to the French El Hamdanih family tracing back to the foundation mare Zenab (1879) of the Pompadour State Stud. This dam line produced such outstanding race horses like Tabarak (Amer x Altesse d’Aroco) or Aziz ASF (Amer x Azizza d’Aroco). Nil Asfour is the third foal of Nil Abiat and half-brother to 2012 Swiss Champion race horse Nil Ashal by Nil Bedouin and Nil Aziz, 2012 by Dahess.
