AINHOA TORDIDJA wins an Endurance Grand Prix over 90 km in France, 2010-04-03

In 2010, it was Ainhoa Tordidja's first season start in the beautiful French region of Bourgogne. Ridden by Ralph Dürler, the 11-year old pure bred Arabian Ainhoa Tordidja showed a top performance passing the 90 km in an average speed of 18 km/h.

The Tornado de Syrah son Ainhoa Tordidja was a former race horse of Nile Arabians trained by Franziska Aeschbacher. After his successful racing career, Nile Arabians sold the gelding to Nora Kaiser and Ralph Dürler who formed him carefully in the endurance sport during the last years. In 2008 and 2009, the French bred Ainhoa Tordidja has won a CEN* and was several times placed. For 2010, Ralph is riding Ainhoa Tordidja as a member of the Swiss National Endurance Team and they are planning to compete at the Swiss Nationals.

Ainhoa Tordidja is a further example of the excellent endurance qualification of former Arabian racing horses. They often demonstrate their fighting and winning instinct over longer distances.

We congratulate Nora and Ralph on this wonderful success and hope that Ainhoa Tordidja stays sound and happy.
