Two
wins and one second place out of three starts shows the balance sheet of the
3-year old Al Sakbe son Nil Ishan Ibn al Sakbe out of the Dormane
daughter Nil Incipit. After wining the “Shadwell Cup” in Cologne in July
and being placed second in the listed race “Zayed The First Arabian Cup”
in Frankfurt one month ago, he was named as the clear favorite in the “Prix

His
hardest competitor was the 5 year old Marwan son Mefisto, twice Group 3
placed and best German bred horse in 2008. On the home straight Mefisto
and Nil Ishan Ibn Al Sakbe together with the 4-year old mare Kahrma
by Dormane were fighting for the victory. At the finishing line Nil Ishan
Ibn Al Sakbe was winning by ¾ length followed by Mefisto and
Kahrma. Nil Ishan Ibn Al Sakbe is bred by Nile Arabians,
trained by Franziska Aeschbacher and owned by Patrick Glanzmann. |
| After his win in the “Prix du Desert”, the stallion has still a valid nomination for the „QATAR TOTAL FRENCH ARABIAN BREEDERS CHALLENGE“, a Group 1 race in Paris at the L'Arc de Triomphe weekend. |
