At 07:20 am a healthy and strongly built DAHESS filly was born at Nile Arabians and was warmly welcomed by a cheerful snicker of the other mares in the stable. The dark grey filly without any marks is the third foal of the straight Tunisian mare KAHLOUCHA, who was herself a successful racing mare with five wins.

DAHESS's earnings are 981,957 Euros and he is classified in the IFAHR ratings as the top Arabian racehorse in the world for 2007 (rated 134). Next highest horses are 128.

DAHESS was sold at the Arqana Arabian Auction in Paris on 6th September for a record 1,050,000 euros and was officially offered as a sire for the first time in 2008.
